This model has been built all over the world and has proven its performance many times over. It is the most expensive model but also has the most conventional feel to it. It has square rooms and a double greenhouse. For those wanting more growing space, a wide greenhouse option is available as well as a garage option for an additional cost. UNITY Approximate cost- $350/per square foot
This model has every room surrounded in thermal mass which makes the ambient feel outweigh the air temperature for year round comfort without fuel of any kind. It is a bit less expensive than the Global Model. It is more like the original Earthships delineated in Earthship Volume One. This makes Volume One a very helpful resource for building your own. The rear of the rooms is round and instead of double greenhouse, it has operable insulated drapes to create a comfortable separation from the greenhouse on super cold nights. ENCOUNTER Approximate cost- $300/per square foot

REFUGE Approximate cost- $275/per square foot
This model is designed to be inexpensive and easy to build. It has square rooms and a double greenhouse. The depth of the building is sized to accommodate standard dimension lumber.
